Geothermal Heat Pumps
We are proud to sell and contract the installation of geothermal heat pumps. Using water sourced from the ground to cool and heat your house, this is a very efficient method. The pumps also include a 'free water heater' mode that pre-heats your hot water for domestic use. These heat pumps do require underground wells for operation, and a well is required for every two tons of cooling.
Mini-Split/Ductless Heat Pumps
Taylor's HVACR sells two major brands of mini-split and ductless heat pumps, Fujitsu and Mr. Slim. Ductwork often results in a loss of efficiency, but these ductless units have a higher SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating) than standard systems. Very popular in Europe, these units also allow you to zone your home, so you can condition the precise area you want.
